This is a notice from some Dunedin-city youth leaders:

We are bringing together young people from a variety of Christian faith communities within the Dunedin City region to form a Combined Youth Worship Band that…

• Honours God,
• Inspires young people to use their gifts,
• Strengthens the development of youth worship in the Dunedin City area.

Members would commit to…

• a fortnightly practise schedule,
• leading worship at events as they arise
• attending two band retreats each year

The audition is an enjoyable non-threatening process that has three parts. Part one is a prepared piece that the candidate has selected. For part two the candidate is given a few minutes with a new piece of music and then asked to play/sing along with the band leader. Part three is a friendly conversation. The whole process will take about half an hour.

We are looking for fun, enthusiastic young people who enjoy worshipping God, have musical gifts and have a cooperative attitude.
